The Youngstown Country Club is a private, Member owned Club, offering 18 holes of Championship Golf. Our course was designed by Walter Travis and redesigned by Donald Ross. YCC is undoubtedly rich with golf history and is one of the oldest courses in Ohio. In 1925 we hosted a PGA Tour Event, The Western Open, with players such as Walter Hagen, Tommy Armour III and Gene Sarezen competing for the title. Our first greens keeper, Col. John Morley, founded the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America in 1926. Today, this organization has over 17,000 members in 72 countries world-wide. Our Head Pro, Scott Sundstrom, was the former 1st Assistant to Bob Ford at Oakmont Country Club and is the current President of the Northern Ohio section of the PGA. Scott's Assistant, Jon Jones, is a Top 10 instructor in the State of Ohio per Golf Digest. Both have been here at Youngstown Country Club for over 16 years.

The Club is pleased to host Golf Outings on Mondays or Friday afternoons. Monday Outings require a minimum of 100 players with a maximum of 144 players. Friday Golf Outings have a minimum of 96 players.

Meals are part of all Golf Outings at the Club. It is expected that Outing groups will have lunch, course refreshments, cocktail reception and dinner following the tournament. Custom designed logo merchandise is available through the Golf Shop. The Club shall have exclusive right to provide Golf and Golf related merchandise, supplies and service for the Outing. We thank you for you interest in hosting your event at The Youngstown Country Club and if you have any further inquiries please contact our Golf Pro, Scott Sundstrom.
